Westermill Farm / Bracken Cottage

Bracken is one of our larger cottages sleeping up to 8 people. It stands in the top paddock with a grass area in front and with views across the valley. An ideal cottage for families wishing to bring grandparents or for groups of friends

This cottage has a small porch with wall hooks for hanging coats by the entrance door. The main living area consists of two low green sofas plus two tv chairs with arms. A pine table with three standard chairs plus a fourth carver chair, and with bench sitting underneath the window. It also includes a tv with video recorder, and wood burning stove.

The kitchen is well equipped and consists of hand built pine units, with modern appliances, which includes an electric oven, microwave, fridge and dish washer.

All beds have a pine frame, with pine bed side cupboards, wardrobes, and dressing tables. The west bedroom has a full length mirror. The downstairs en suite wet room, has a shower with a curtain and a fold down seat. It also includes a loo and wash basin, with well positioned hand rails.

The upstairs bathroom consists of a bath, wash basin and a loo. Both bathrooms, have heated towel rails and dimplex wall heaters. Downstairs there is pine flooring with quarry tiles in the wet room, a wooden stair case, leading to carpeted bedrooms, and lino in the bathroom.

Also one twin bedded bedroom with en-suite shower room and wheelchair access. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms 2 with twin bedded 3ft beds and 1 small bedroom with 2ft 6” beds suitable for children also a bathroom.
